Free Yoga in the Park

Come join the YMCA for FREE Yoga in the Park on Knotts Green Thursday, May 30, 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Yoga in the Park is open to the Ballantyne community for participants ages 13 and up. Yoga mats are provided, but you may bring your own if you wish. Participants should bring their own water.

Register below with the YMCA Corporate Wellness Center today. Those who sign up in advance will be contacted if the rain date is used. Rain date set for June 6.

Take a vacation to the Outdoor Pool at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge on Friday, May 24, 6:00pm – 9:00pm, with a summer fashion show from Tommy Bahama, live entertainment, Smirnoff-based cocktail specials, seasonal a la carte menu by Gallery Restaurant, raffle prizes and more. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Charlotte Chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), dedicated to finding a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Divine Expressions by Sondra will hold Fashion is in the Air, a signature upscale fashion show event in the Ballantyne Village Shopping Center at the Villa Antonio Restaurant along the fountain side on May 24, 2013. The evening will begin with a 6:00pm mixer in the heart of the shopping center featuring jazz band 5th & York, and the show will begin at 7:45am.

The mission of this show is to assist A Child’s Place, a local non-profit working to erase the impact of homelessness on children and their education in Charlotte. Sponsorship opportunities still available. For more details, download flyer below.
